Johnson,(Very rare 1st) The Kilima-Njaro expedition : a record of scientific explorations in eastern equatorial Africa

I believe its been rebound at an early stage or its a luxury copy, I am not sure. What is for sure is that it is in good solid condition through out. Boards are straight and tight with brown tan covered spine and bright gilt title lettering, some extremities are worn, One split between Rear end paper and p.571 and back board with some minor loss to inside of this page, must have got stuck together at some time, but still very much solid and NOT detached. Some spine lean.
The first colour-folding map is torn in half, but is all present, Map 6 is missing or was never present! Some marks, some faded pencil notes on one or two pages, No Inscriptions or book plates, No odours and further a very nice and clean, bright copy. Looks super on the shelf and feels good to hold and is a must for the African mountain collector.

News and Updates

My web shop has not been very active lately, as I have been very busy with my new business in Zanzibar this last 2 years and on 1 August this year. I will open the doors to my latest venture "BUSHMAN'S KITCHEN" the main business will be brunches and lunches with tables outside in a garden area next to the road to Jambiani. I will also offer ‘BUSHMAN’ fashion accessories such as Snake, Zebra, Lizard, Fish and Ostrich skin handbags, wallets, belts and jewelry and next to this I will offer some African explore books. Right place to read such books I recon. So if your passing then just drop in, if you need a place to stay a nice colonial private house in the bush near to the beach check out my villas on www.zanzibarvillas.com
